Products
Saltrock doesn't offer as large a selection as some other retailers, but the goods are of a very high quality. With around six to 7 thousand products online, there's plenty to get through! We really love their commitment to the surfer roots, still selling a variety of surfboards and water sport clothing. The t-shirts are one of the more popular categories but are also very affordable in price. Don't forget to keep an eye out for online exclusive deals for extra savings.
Delivery
Saltrock offers both Standard and Next day delivery through Royal Mail. While delivery is fairly reliable through Royal mail and is tracked, you don't get the benefit of nominated day deliveries or specific time slots. We'd love to see some more courier options on the website. Click and collect is also available but the number of Saltrock stores is fairly limited, and this is only an option for those living in the South or South West of England.
Returns and refunds
Saltrock offers FREE returns within 28 days of purchase. The process is easy and is done through Royal Mail. You can easily get your returns label from the Royal Mail website and take it to your local delivery office. Again, while the option available is easy to use, we'd love to see more options such as InPost or Collect+.
Customer Services
Saltrock customer services is particularly strong. You can contact them via online form, email or phone. We love having the option to phone directly and this is great when you have an urgent enquiry. You can also find help in your local Saltrock store where their friendly staff will be happy to help you with any enquiries.
Carbon Footprint
Saltrock is a company built around a united respect for the natural environment. They are committed to environmental protection, transparency across the supply chain, employee wellbeing and investing in communities. They offer a wide range of recycled shirts, made from 96% recycled polyester. There is also a range of recycled shorts, and Saltrock encourage 2 minute beach cleans and cycle schemes.
About Saltrock
Created by brothers Ross and Angus Thomson in 1988, Saltrock is a surfwear company based in Devon. Named after a South African town, Saltrock offers designs inspired by surfing. In August 2018, Saltrock went into administration before eventually being purchased by Crew Clothing Co Group. The Saltrock brand is found in over 300 stores across the UK and Europe, with 25 stores remaining open throughout the south and south west of England. Many Saltrock products have the red logo of Saltrock and the mascot, Tok. Tok is a crazy haired surfer boy and features as a graphic on mens and boys clothing.

Saltrock Frequently Asked Questions
Why is it called Saltrock?
The founders, Angus and Ross Thomson are South African natives. They named the brand after the South African town Salt Rock, situated about 40 minutes outside of Durban. Salt Rock was one of their favourite places to surf.
What/who is Tok?
Tok is the crazy surfer boy mascot of the Saltrock brand. He is named after the Tokoloshe, a South African legend about a water sprite who is evil and mischievous.

Delivery
Saltrock offers two main delivery options.
Standard delivery is available for £3.95 (FREE when you spend £50) and usually takes around 2-5 days. Standard delivery is sent via Royal Mail.
Next day UK delivery is available for £4.95. For next day delivery your order must be placed before 3pm Mon - Fri. If you order after 3pm or during the weekend your order will be dispatched the next working day.
If you live in the South or South West and have a nearby Saltrock store, you can arrange a click and collect option.
Returns
Saltrock offers FREE UK returns. Returns are sent free via Royal Mail's online Tracked Returns service.
Step 1: Create a returns label via the Royal Mail website.
Step 2: Follow the instructions to create your returns label.
Step 3: Either print and attach the label or take the QR code from the royal mail website to your local delivery office. Don't forget to enclose the completed returns slip included with your order.
