A handmade lampshade the designer hanging light Lamella 1 The two designers Hallgeir Homstvedt and Jonah Takagi have taken inspiration from nature for the Lamella 1 hanging light, namely from mushrooms. On the underside of a lot of mushroom heads there are lamellas, or fins, similar to those found in the appropriately-named Lamella light model.
