What Does AO Outlet Sell?

How Are AO Outlet Products Refurbished?

When an appliance is returned to AO - due to a fault, transit damage or customer change of mind - it is sent to AO’s assessment facility in Telford. Trained engineers inspect, test and repair each item. Those meeting the required standard are graded, repackaged and listed on the AO Outlet eBay store with full condition details. AO states that items refurbished through this channel are to the highest standard and in many cases buyers would struggle to spot the difference from new.

The Telford site also operates as part of AO Recycling, one of the UK’s largest recyclers of fridges and large domestic appliances. Items beyond repair are broken down responsibly for material recovery rather than going to landfill.

Warranty, Delivery and Returns

Every item sold through AO Outlet includes a 12-month warranty provided by AO Outlet rather than the original manufacturer, as these are refurbished products. If a product develops a defect within 12 months of delivery it can be returned under this warranty, subject to assessment. Your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 also apply.

Delivery is available seven days a week to all UK postcodes. Large appliances such as washing machines and fridge freezers are delivered by a two-person team - the same standard you would expect from the main AO.com service.
