The Makita LS002GZ01 is a 216mm cordless slide compound mitre saw powered by 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion battery and equipped with a BL brushless motor that provides consistently smooth cutting. The rail-forward design allows the rear of the machine to be placed close to the wall whilst a front job allows for easy bevel adjustment. There is an easy-to-operate mitre angle lock whilst the device comes with holders to support a wide workpiece. Other features of the LS002GZ01 include an electric brake, soft start, constant speed control and a handy LED job light. The unit can also be connected to a dust extractor. The Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) connects to compatible dust extractors with Bluetooth. The dust extractor automatically runs while the switch is on.
