The Makita DCE090ZX1 Cordless 230 mm (9") Power Cutter is powered by two 18V Li-ion batteries in series to supply energy to the powerful 36V DC brushless motor drive system. For safe operation, the unit features an electric brake, an overload indicator lamp and a lock-off button. The DCE090ZX1 also offers soft start as well as featuring an LED job light. The cutter features Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) which shuts down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly slows down.
