• SPECIFICATIONS: This patented tool requires only 1/3 to 1/2 the hand force as compared to traditional tools to crimp the connector. The crimping tool is 5 ½ in long and weighs approx. 1/2lb. It easily fits in your pocket and lightens the tool bag load.
• VERSATILITY: FT-45 is designed to crimp IDEAL Feed-Thru, standard and shielded RJ-45 connectors for CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6A cables. It is compatible with many non-IDEAL connectors as well. One tool covers current and future twisted pair applications.
• PRECISE TERMINATION: During crimping, the FT-45 crimp tool cleanly shears the excess conductors and leaves a smooth finish at the end face of the Feed-Thru connector. This minimizes accidental shorting of conductors or inadvertent contact in plug jacks.
