• Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is the original and favourite furniture paint and wax used by thousands of professionals accross the world.
• Cleaning: Wash brushes in hot water and soap immediately after use
• Aftercare: To maintain your finish wash with mild soapy water and a soft damp cloth, re-wax if necessary. Chalk Paint Wax is water repellent so can be used on kitchens, cupboards and table tops. Apply two coats of wax. Not recommended for areas with a lot of water. Not suitable for outdoor use
• Curing time. The wax will be touch dry after 1- 2 hours, depending on conditions. Wax should be fully hardened after 5 days but solvents can take up to 21 days to fully evaporate. Results vary depending on previous treatments of the surface. Treat your finished piece with extra care while the wax cures — this can take between 5 and 21 days.
• Coverage : Approx allow 10-20 ml per square meter depending on surface and conditions. Wax every part of your piece at least once. Two or thre coats will create a water repellent, wipeable finish for dining room tables and kitchen cabinets.
• How To Use: Apply a thin coat of wax onto your painted surface with either a lint-free cloth or Wax Brush. Apply the wax in big broad strokes in all directions then work small areas if necessary around mouldings or intricate details. Remove any excess by wiping gently with a clean cloth. The colour will darken slightly.
