• POWER: Connect the curly cord to the handset and to the socket on the unit. Connect the mains adapter to an electrical wall socket and then to the socket marked DC 12V on the unit. Connect the line cord to a telephone wall socket and then to the socket on the unit. Use the telephone line cord supplied only. 4 x AA alkaline batteries are needed for the display operation (no back light) in the event of a power cut.
