When it comes to the descent, the T8 is a ninja. Its long reach and slack front end put you in a stable and confidence-inspiring riding position. The short stem and chainstay keep the T8 agile, even with 29-inch wheels. This bike's geometry and componentry give you the self-assurance to weave through tight turns and technical features at speed. It is impressive for a bike at this price point to be kitted out with FOX front and rear suspension. The FOX 34 Rhythm Fork is supple off the top for absorbing vibrations from the trail but ramps up at the bottom to deal with big hits. At the rear, the FOX Float shock has a very usable range of rebound adjustment, so it's tuneable for riders of all weights. On the ascents, a steep seat tube angle puts you in a perfect position for climbing. Combined with the premium SLX 12-speed drivetrain, this bike has real climbing credentials. Locking off the suspension, a nice added benefit of running FOX components, helps with grinding up extra steep climbs.Polygon went the whole hog with the T8, so it's a mouth-watering proposition for any serious mountain biker with a modest budget.Rated 9/10 by MBR magazine, who called it "one of the best cheap mountain bikes out there, a budget full-suspension bike with modern geometry and progressive sizing".Feature Highlights6061 butted aluminium frame - A strong and lightweight aluminium alloy frame with dependable weld integrity.140mm FOX Rhythm fork - A customisable air-sprung suspension fork with stiff 34mm stantions for serious mountain biking.Shimano SLX 1x12 drivetrain - Premium gear-shifting finesse from the maestros at Shimano.Tektro HD-M745 - Impressive four piston stopping power that rivals products from SRAM and Shimano.150mm TransX dropper seat post - A reliable hydraulic dropper post with 150mm of travel. Puts the saddle exactly where you need it135mm Fox Float DPS rear shock - Lots of rear wheel travel with a plush feel and plenty of adjustability.Hans Dampf tyres - Ultra-grippy tyres
