About Robert Dyas

Purchased in 2012 by former Dragons' Den investor Theo Pahitis, Robert Dyas dates back to the 1870s. Originally from County Meath in Ireland, Robert Dyas emigrated to England and opened his first shop in London in 1872. Inherited by his sons who took over the business, it stayed in the family, being run by Dyas' grandsons who died in 1961 and 2002. It has changed hands a number of times and has been owned by Change Capital Partners before falling into financial difficulty. It was eventually sold to Theo Paphitis. Robert Dyas has over 93 shops in 2022 and a large online shopping presence.

Delivery

There are 4 main delivery options available to you if you live in the UK Mainland. These options are standard delivery, next day delivery, named day delivery and Saturday delivery. Standard delivery is FREE on orders over £50 most of the time with constant voucher codes and is available on standard products. You can enter a mobile number at the checkout to receive text updates on your delivery. If you happen to live near a Robert Dyas store you can also select Click and Collect service. This is free and your product will be ready in the store of your choice within 5 working days. You'll get an email confirmation and the product will be held for 7 days.

Returns & refunds

Robert Dyas offers a 14 day returns policy.You can request a refund via Robert Dyas customer services. If you are returning your goods you will be charged for collection. This is usually around £7.50 for small items and £30 for large items. Alternatively, most products can be returned to your local Robert Dyas store.
