Blacks has a very large product range for all things outdoors. We find it is one of the cheapest high street retailers for specialist equipment. Compared to other high street brands you'll be able to find gear for extreme conditions and outdoor activities. Blacks also has a number of its own brands like Peter Storm, adding to the already large product range. The price promise adds an extra bit of value as they'll beat competitors by 10% if you find something cheaper. There are also regular voucher codes to keep an eye for.
Delivery
All Blacks delivery options are tracked in some way. While delivery is FREE over £80, even the standard UK delivery is quite pricey, which could eat up the savings you're making choosing Blacks over another retailer. We love that they offer DPD specific Next Day Delivery, as we find this to be one of the most reliable delivery services available. BFPO delivery is also available.
Returns and refunds
Blacks offer one of the widest range of return options we've seen. As well as in store returns you can also use services like Inpost, Asda returns, Royal Mail, CollectPlus and Evri returns. If you Paypal to pay you can claim a refund on return shipping costs. You can activate this Return Shipping On Us service in your Paypal account.

Blacks doesn't offer a live help service, which is usually the fastest and easiest way to get in touch with a retailer. Carbon Footprint
Blacks don't appear to offer direct information on any carbon emission reducing targets. They do however take part in a scheme to reduce waste electrical and electronic equipment. When you buy new electricals like a GPS, radio, torch or lantern you can take your waste electrical equipment to a recycling facility for safe and environmentally responsible processing.

Blacks offers multiple delivery options and contactless delivery. The cheapest option is Standard UK Delivery. This is £4.95 or FREE when you spend over £80. Delivered between 8am and 8pm, Monday-Saturday. Excluding bank holidays. A tracking link will be provided once your order is dispatched.
Premium next day delivery is available for £7.95 or £5.95 when you spend over £80. Order by 4pm Monday-Friday (4pm Sunday) Delivered by DPD between 8am and 8pm Monday-Saturday with a 1 hour delivery window.
You can also opt for regular Next Day Delivery. This is £5.95 or £3.95 when you spend over £80. Order by 4pm Sunday-Friday Delivered by Evri or DHL between 8am and 8pm Monday-Saturday.
