About FatFace

Founded in 1988 by Tim Slade and Jules Leaver, FatFace was originally inspired by the name of a black mountain ski run in Le Face. The business originally started as a means to fund the founders skiing, but has continued to grow into one of the most recognised high street brands in the UK. In 2007 FatFace was acquired for £360 million and was going to be floated onto the London Stock Exchange, but this was ultimately cancelled due to lack of confidence by prospective stockholders. FatFace was subject to a ransomware attack in 2021, paying $2 million to the cyber criminals to recover data. FatFace has teamed with a number of brands like Raleigh to deliver new collections.

Does FatFace have a Black Friday sale?

FatFace does take part in Black Friday sales. Black Friday 2022 takes place on November 25th, in 2023 it will be on November 24th and in 2024 it will be on November 29th. The FatFace Black Friday may go live anytime in November, with many retailers offering discounts for the whole month. Does Fatface do student discount?

Yes! FatFace offers a 10% student and graduate discounts through Student Beans.

Do you need a FatFace account to place an order?

It's easy to make a FatFace account but no, it is not a requirement to create an account. You can place an order as a guest and still receive all the relevant tracking information.

What payment methods do FatFace accept?

FatFace accepts payments with VISA, VISA Debit, Mastercard, AMEX, Paypal, Apple pay and Klarna. It does not accept Visa Electron, Solo or Laser.

Contacting FatFace

The FatFace help centre is easy to navigate and offers up a number of options for getting in touch with FatFace. There's a handy contact form on the help centre page that you can use to get in touch, but many people may find the other options easier.

The easiest option is to hop on their online live chat. You'll initially be connected to a virtual online assistant, but if the virtual assistant cannot resolve your issue it can put you through to an adviser. Live chat is available Monday - Saturday 10am - 4.30pm and Sunday 10am - 2.30pm.

FatFace Delivery

Standard tracked delivery is provided by EVRi and your order should arrive within 3-5 days. During busy sale periods it may take an extra one or two days for your order to get to you. You'll be given a delivery slot via text/email.

UK Express delivery is also available via EVRi and these deliveries should be with you between 1-2 working days.

Returns & refunds

FatFace offers a 30 day return period, though they are usually happy to extend this over the festive periods to account for gift shopping. Returns are FREE and easy. You can return your items to your local store or via post to receive a refund. Postal returns can be issued through Royal Mail or EVRi. The returns period does drop to 15 days for sale items.
